Youth Options has been working in partnership with Connexions to deliver an intensive support programme to young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).
The programme provides personal support to young people who want to return to college or training or move into employment but may be unsure about how to achieve this.
The aim of the project is to:
More recently Youth Options has been working in partnership with Southampton City College supporting their Skills Plus Programme. The results of providing this additional intensive support to students who have been struggling to maintain their engagement with the college, has proved extremely beneficial and has resulted in the majority of the students involved opting to return to college in September 2007.

- Provide relevant information, advice and guidance that meet the individual needs of young people
- Offer a range of opportunities that encourage re-engagement, improve self-esteem and confidence, promote team work and improve life skills
